About Our Organization

Where it all began

Who We Are ?

Initiatives for Peace and Human Rights (iPeace) is a non-profit organization that strives to enhance the culture of peace through human rights and good governance education.

Since early 2000s, iPeace has been working at the grassroots level with local leaders to ensure that socio-economic transformation is accompanied by the respect for human rights and the observation of good governance principles.

At iPeace, we believe that raising awareness of citizens and their leaders about human rights and good governance on a regular basis is the best way to contribute to the building of sustainable peace in the Great Lakes region.
